Willard Pratt has been painting wildlife scenes along the Texas Coast, particularly West Galveston Bay, since 1980.  He is fascinated with Texas "skyscapes."  According to Pratt, "Shooting out of a growing bank of dramatic cumulonimbus clouds and filtering through heavy, humid atmosphere, the light of the Gulf Coast has a quality all its own."
